Caribbean Women have been showing up!!!

Bajan beauty Rihanna at the 2023 Super bowl half halftime show (love it or hate it my girl took the stage!!), Jamaican born Sheryl Lee Ralph performed ‘Lift Every Voice’ at the the same event and then Trinbagonian Soca Artist Patrice Roberts performed at the Raptors Game halftime show.

We’re doing it!!!

I’m pretty sure each leading lady was a bit nervous before they took the stage…..even after hours of practice they must have surely felt those butterflies but they did what they had to do.

How would you have handled it?

Imagine with me…….out of nowhere, you get the perfect opportunity. This opportunity places you in front of hundreds, thousands or even millions of your ideal clients or customers. All of a sudden, things become easy: You’re doing the work and people are paying you fistfuls of dollars. As a matter of fact, there’s a waiting list a mile long of persons just dying to work with you.

But it doesn’t end there my friend: Out of nowhere, that company you’ve always wanted to work with reaches out. Sponsorship deals, speaking gigs, training programs…..all of the things you wanted to have happen……it’s happening!!!

Social media engagement soars, your email list is literally bursting at the seams with ideal customers wanting what you offer.

What does that feel like?

Like you’re living the life???………Or does it feel a bit too much?

For many (dare I say most) of us, discomfort is exactly what we feel when we get exactly what we’ve been saying we want all along.

It’s almost like we’re waiting for ‘the other shoe to drop’ and feel like it can all go wrong at any second! But hear me when I say your business and your brand is only capable of as much success as YOU can handle. It might sound crazy but you would be surprised how desperately most of us want to stay in the familiar territory of struggling. Struggle feels comfortable because we’ve been doing it for so damn long. Imagine what would happen if we managed to get comfortable with not struggling? Not stressing? Not worrying?????

So what can you do? How can you prepare for that incredible moment of greatness that is heading your way?

Well, you’ve got to practice showing up!!

Yes it seems unfamiliar but you’ll get better at it. Just recently I was talking to one of my clients who told me that every single interview she did helped her feel a little bit braver. She called it ‘practice’ because with every step she took she learned something new.

You see, showing up regularly will help you be ready to receive all the things that are coming your way. You don’t have to do anything fan-tabulous right now, all you have to do is show up!

I can help you do just that in a way that doesn’t feel overwhelming or stressful.

Let’s hop on a call to talk about it
